Happening!

Happening! is the performance arts festival curated by Letizia Renzini in collaboration with NAM – Not A Museum, Manifattura Tabacchi’s contemporary art platform. From 25 September to 4 October, projects, installations, performances, concerts, and exhibits will animate the space of Manifattura Tabacchi creating a vivid atmosphere to experience and visit. It will be an ‘officina dell’arte’ which invites the audience into the creative process through active participation.

The Happening! Festival aims to be a manifesto envisioning new possibilities for permutations between the artistic sphere and everyday life. Art and culture will be renewed during and after a crisis and will be able to return a sense of meaning to a society which has come to recognise the risks of its very existence. 

With the participation of international artists and performers such as Marina Giovannini, Rob Mazurek, Muna Mussie, Jessie Marino and others active in Tuscany such as the Scuola Musica di Fiesole, Tempo Reale and the New Generation Festival.
