The XXX edition of the Fabbrica Europa Festival

The heart of the XXX edition of the Fabbrica Europa Festival – in dance, music, performing arts, and their intersections – aims to be a call to the essence of the land. Not in its objectivity, but in a kind of creative dream, in looking at those generative forces that inhabit it beyond time and history, beyond stereotypes and prejudices.
A cross-cutting theme is represented by visionary female presences, who take the stage with the power, depth, and spirituality of archetypal figures or with the intensity of the most current social, political, and cultural sign.

Projects, shows, concerts, performances, site-specific creations, meetings, workshops will inhabit spaces full of suggestions and theaters in the territory designed and imagined for each artistic proposal, in a widespread geography that connects the center and the outskirts: from September 15th to 20th, the Festival will make a stop at Manifattura Tabacchi with MAPS OF THE NEW WORLD.

MAPS OF THE NEW WORLD is a platform dedicated to the new contemporary performative and multidisciplinary scene. In the spaces of Manifattura Tabacchi, Teatro Florida, and PARC, processes, creative outcomes, and proposals of young international artists and professionals are showcased as they engage with the languages of the body, music, sound, new technologies, and audience interaction, thanks to research paths, experimentation practices, and site-specific formats.
