Creative Mani Factory, the traveling market curated by the Heyart Association, returns to Manifattura Tabacchi in Florence!

Here, artisans, designers, illustrators, and independent publishers come together to create an exhibition that blends tradition, contemporary aesthetics, research, and innovation. Every piece is unique, from jewelry and clothing to accessories and design objects. Each item is carefully crafted using materials and techniques that highlight artisanal skill.
This edition focuses on sustainability-driven creativity, offering a rich program of activities and experiences for all ages.

SATURDAY, APRIL 5th

10.30 am – Kids Lab “Frames” by Francesca Campigli
A creative workshop where children can make picture frames and artistic compositions using fabric scraps and recycled tactile materials, experimenting with colors and textures.

11.00 am – Workshop “Weave Your Own Coaster” by Ilaria Ceccarelli
Learn the art of weaving and create a coaster using the macramé technique! A relaxing and creative workshop introducing participants to the Turkish knot method.

4.00 pm & 6.00 pm – “Upcycling Show” with sustainable fashion designers Sol Gabriel and Eva di Franco
Bring an old garment and transform it into a unique piece! With the help of designers specializing in ethical fashion and upcycling, you’ll learn how to breathe new life into your clothes. The experience will be accompanied by live music from DJ Key.na and an aperitif.

SUNDAY, APRIL 6th

10.30 am – Kids Lab “Animals” by Francesca Campigli
A creative workshop where children can craft small animals using cardboard and colors, turning them into unique room decorations.

11.00 am – Workshop “The Myth of Illustration” by Melania Campanaro
For those interested in illustration, this workshop explores the process of translating a story into images, guiding participants through character creation and visual composition based on myths or fairy tales.

3.00 pm – Kids Lab “Decorate Your Own Cookie” by Cuchis Lab
A sweet pastry decorating workshop for young aspiring chefs! Kids can unleash their creativity by decorating delicious cookies with personalized colors and shapes.

6.00 pm – Fashion Show by Undici Florence
The grand finale of the two-day event features the presentation of Undici Florence’s latest collection. This fashion brand embodies three core values: sustainability, tailoring, and minimalism.

In addition to the events and workshops, Creative Factory will host two special illustration initiatives:

“Very Important Portrait” by Daria Derakhshan
An exhibition that reinterprets ten iconic figures from the art world through a pop and colorful lens.

“Blind Portrait”
A unique live portrait experience where the artist sketches without ever looking at the paper, creating a single continuous line.

All workshops and children’s activities (ages 5+) are free with prior registration.
