The group exhibition resulting from the second edition of A Room with a View, a project by Toast Project dedicated to the young international art scene in the city, opens on Wednesday, November 27th, at 6.30 pm in the Caveau at Manifattura Tabacchi.

The exhibition, on view until December 8th, brings together works by Milo Maricelli, Selma Ok, and Lorenzo Risani. Through the use of sculpture, photography, and digital techniques, the artists engage with the historical memory and unique character of the Caveau. Their artworks interact with the emotions stirred by personal and collective memories, evoking new sensitivities.

In the unique post-industrial setting of the Caveau at Manifattura Tabacchi, the works of Milo Maricelli, Selma Ok, and Lorenzo Risani establish a dialogue between historical memory and contemporary artistic experimentation. The Caveau houses machinery, fixtures, objects, and other materials recovered from the factory and carefully preserved. Through practices that range from analytical rigor to emotional sensitivity, the artists showcase cold, tender, and violent sensibilities. The works resonate with the identity of the Caveau, lightening the historical weight of the past through strategies of sharing.
