Built during the last phase of construction on lot 4, Building 10 housed the Thermal Plant, which consisted of three steam boilers, each measuring one hundred square metres.

the project
This small building with its tall chimney finds itself in a strategic position, right in front of a future stop for the metropolitan tramway, providing a direct link to the wider transport network in Florence.
The structure will be preserved and enhanced to accommodate informal spaces dedicated to catering; most likely a craft brewery, with an external pergola built with construction elements and recycled materials from demolition work on the site.
