Manifattura Tabacchi initiates a special collaboration with Rifò, a sustainable fashion brand born in Prato from an idea by Niccolò Cipriani, which produces clothing from regenerated fibers. The lobby of Building B5 at the Factory hosts two collection boxes for used clothing: sweaters made of 95-100% wool or cashmere, or a garment made of 100% cotton denim.

Your wool and cashmere sweaters and your long denim pants can be reused or recycled through Rifò’s circular service. Old garments will be regenerated to create new sustainable items. As a thank you, you will receive a €10 discount voucher to use on the Rifò online shop.

To celebrate this initiative, as part of the Non solo Cinema in Manifattura series curated by Stensen, there will be a special screening of the documentary Stracci by Tommaso Santi on August 28th. This documentary explores the theme of sustainability in the fashion industry and traces the journey of our used clothes, starting from Prato. Admission to the screening will be free for anyone who donates a 100% cotton denim garment or a 95-100% wool sweater at the box office.
