Many Possible Cities is the a festival from Manifattura Tabacchi on urban regeneration: 3 days of talks, workshops and exhibitions to stimulate the minds of those who are imagining and planning the city of tomorrow, exploring ideas that look at art, the temporary use of spaces, and green thinking.

During Many Possible Cities Radio Papesse will be curating a three-day live broadcast from Manifattura Tabacchi, to start answering some of the most urgent questions that blossom along the way of urban regenerators and cultural practitioners seeking a balance between independence and sustainability.

The volume Global Tools 1973–1975: When education coincides with life (NERO Editions, Rome 2018) documents the eponymous experience of Radical Design and the multidisciplinary didactic design programme it founded in Florence in 1973. The authors Silvia Franceschini and Valerio Borgonuovo have created a book that is both a commentary and an impressive visual archive that brings together essays by international authors and reproductions of many original documents.

Andrea Bartoli | 10 years of Farm Cultural Park

Notary since 2000. He is a consultant in strategic planning, feasibility and management of public and private cultural organizations. With Florinda, life partner and accomplice of all his initiatives, in June 2010 they gave birth to Farm Cultural Park, a new generation Cultural Center, winner of numerous awards, including the prestigious award of the American Foundation of the same name Curry Stone Design Prize, as one of the 100 international experiences that have produced the greatest social impact in the world in the last ten years.

With a passion for urban planning and agriculture, Kendall spent 10 years transforming abandoned factories into bustling campuses for creatives and entrepreneurs. She launched Industry City and Mana Contemporary and consults on other urban mega projects, including Ponce City Market and Chelsea Market. She is the founder of the Collision Project, an art platform that facilitates queer and marginalized artists to exhibit large-scale work in public spaces.

Radio Papesse is an online audio archive devoted to contemporary art; it is a place for the documentation and the articulation of a critical discourse around the visual arts and at the same time it is a radio platform dedicated to sound art, experimental sound and radiophonic production and distribution. It has embraced radio as a medium and as a language to communicate art making today. Founded in 2006, Radio Papesse is curated by Ilaria Gadenz and Carola Haupt and since 2011 it’s hosted by Villa Romana, in Florence.
